While The Future Home of Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati puts an emphasis on fun and entertainment, safety is our number one priority. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the casino is implementing new health and safety precautions for the protection of our valued guests and employees. Read on to learn more about our casino operations and what you can expect when you come to visit us.
Our first health and safety precaution is the Safe + Sound program. This elevated disinfecting and sanitizing program is implemented by a dedicated team of over 100 Clean Team Ambassadors. All team members have undergone safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) training. Their job is to clean high surface areas around the clock and to use electrostatic atomizer technology to sterilize casino equipment every hour.
You are now required to get your temperature taken before entering the property. We have two walk-through temperature scanners at each entrance. If you have a temperature above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, you will be directed to a secondary checkpoint where you will undergo further screening. If a high temperature persists, you will not be permitted to enter the property.
As part of our new health and safety precautions, all entrances to the building are accessible and equipped with a security scanner and counter to monitor capacity. Any line formations must be single file. Floor markers and stanchions will be used as visible guidelines for social distancing as you wait in line. Please note that elevators will also be limited to just four guests at a time.
Social distancing protocols are one of the most noticeable changes you will see in our casino operations in 2020. We are taking health and safety precautions in every area of the property to ensure your safety throughout your visit.
The Future Home of Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati has reduced table game availability and seating capacity to avoid crowding. In most cases, Plexiglass shields have also been installed between dealers and guests, as well as between chairs.
Here are the new health and safety precautions for table games.
We have closed off every other slot machine due to their close proximity. To help reduce the time you have to wait to enjoy the slots, we have installed 75 new slot machines throughout the casino. This gives us a grand total of 1,748 slot machines on the floor of The Future Home of Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati!
The casino’s new health and safety precautions also affect the bars and restaurants located throughout the property. Just as seating has been limited for table games, bars and restaurants have reduced capacity and seating options as well. We have also placed stanchions at the entrance and exit of each restaurant to ensure social distancing practices.
Drink service is still available on the casino floor, but there have been changes in casino operations for certain restaurants. Take a look at this list so you can plan a delicious meal or a fun refreshment during your visit.
When visiting our restrooms, you will notice updated health and safety precautions. Every other sink and urinal is turned off to assist with physical social distancing, and restrooms are cleaned every 30 minutes.
As part of the new health and safety precautions for the safest casino experience, you will be required to wear a face covering while inside the property, except when eating and smoking. If you forget your mask, you can request a complimentary mask at an entry point. All of our team members will be wearing face coverings too.
We strongly encourage you to wash and sanitize your hands frequently. To make this as easy and convenient as possible, hand sanitizing stations are available and identified throughout the entire casino floor. You can always find free-standing and wall dispensers, as well as pump sanitizers at table games and outlets.
The casino has also updated parking procedures to keep both guests and employees safe. Because valet has not been permitted to reopen since the outbreak of COVID-19, the valet parking area is now used for Elite and X-Card only. You can use parking levels 1 and 4, where there are also handicap dropoffs for added convenience. Lastly, the Uber and Lyft dropoff and pickup location has been moved to the Cube entrance, so you no longer need to go to the valet entrance.
As we all navigate these uncertain times, The Future Home of Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati wants you to know that we are doing everything in our power to ensure a fun and safe experience. We can’t wait to welcome you back to our casino!
